Cue The Sharks
With Tommy [damned the bad luck] Delay's political blood seeping out into the Capitol Hill waters, his good frien... um ex... ah bad, ooookay, sharks, Reps. Jim Kolbe (Ariz.), Charles Bass (N.H.), Paul Ryan (Wis.) and Tom Feeney (Fla.) wrote in a letter to their colleagues, imploring them to vote for change. "We must realize that the Majority we have all worked so hard for is in jeopardy." Seems this Republican corruption thingie has them worried about the Grand Old Party.
The sharks joining in on the feeding frenzy and vying for DeLay's job are...
Reps. John A. Boehner (R-Ohio)
John Shadegg (R-Ariz.) as they try to derail the front-runner --
Rep. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), [my my, Mr Blunt, is that shark bites on your behind?]
Eric I. Cantor (R-Va.)
Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-Mich.), a Boehner supporter was over heard saying in regards the BIG and BROADENING problem of the Republican scandals, "And at the end of the day, I don't think the Republican Party should say, 'It is so big we've decided to promote everybody."
